Do You and Your Parents Have a Healthcare Plan?

You plan for many important events in life, such as weddings, vacations, your children’s education, and retirement. Sadly, health choices made at the end of life are seldom planned, and many times they will be made for you if don’t have a road map in place ahead of time.

In the years to come, nearly every adult in this country will be impacted by this senior tsunami as 10,000 baby boomers turn 65 every day. This will be the case for the next 18 years, increasing the senior population in this country to 22 percent. And, at the same time, the average lifespan continues to increase. In 1900, the average lifespan was 47 years, but in 2020 it’s expected to rise into the mid-80’s.

Senior Care Seminar Series

A 5-part series to educate caregivers of elderly parents or loved ones of their options and resources.

The support you need to make the right healthcare choices.

At Bingham Memorial Hospital, we understand that it’s best to take action before the health of your parents starts to decline. Knowing what options are available can reduce the amount of stress associated with making end-of-life decisions. While it may be difficult and uncomfortable, talking about these questions early will help you and your parents prepare for the switching of roles and will ensure your parents are safe and cared for.

To be sure you’re as prepared as possible, you and your loved ones are invited to attend a FREE, monthly Senior Care seminar series, proudly sponsored by Bingham Memorial Hospital. Over the next five months, Bingham Memorial specialists will explore what adult caregivers need to know before their parents reach the point that they need on-going care.
